Compliance Officer at PayU

What you’ll be doing

  • Implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and processes under the direction of the Global PayU Group and Local Regulation, for example AML, CDD, ABAC and Competition Compliance
  • Evaluate intenal controls – implement changes
  • Interpreting and applying legislation, rules, regulations across the business
  • Manage all Compliance Audits
  • Manage and formulate plans of action based on audit feedback
  • Work closely with Global team to Plan and Deliver the Compliance Strategy
  • Implement all relevant compliance training
  • Support Business with Compliance analyses and recommendations
  • Researching and implementing industry best practices and processes for compliance
  • Compliance reporting delivered to Nigerian Board and Global Management
  • Ensuring all compliance policies and procedures are up to date and implemented locally
  • Mitigate all possible compliance risk
  • Guide business by being a subject matter expert
  • Work closely with regulation bodies in Nigeria to ensure compliance
  • Deliver on all Leadership behaviours of PayU
  • ( these tasks can be adjusted)

What are we looking for?

  • Leadership capabilities, strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • 3-5 years experience as a Compliance Officer in Nigeria ( Relevant Industry Knowledge)
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Full understanding of Local Compliance Rregulation and as well Global
  • Proficient in English
  • Strong Analytical skills
