Coronavirus: Medical kits donated by Chinese firm depart China, enroute Nigeria

The medical kits donated by a Chinese firm in Nigeria to the Federal government for the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, has departed China and is currently on its way to Nigeria.

Last week, the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire announced that a Chinese firm in Nigeria had procurred some medical equipments for Nigeria in China and that a special air cargo would be sent from Nigeria to China to pick them up as well as some medical personnel.

The Federal government has accepted the medical kit gifts and the consignment is currently on its way on an Airpeace flight to Nigeria. The medical personnel are also to arrive Nigeria today.
