Tasks
- Leads, manages, and develops the organization in terms of business and people within Nigeria.
- Identifies business requirements and uncovers opportunities for improvement.
- Prepares action plans and schedules to increase business activities in the assigned territory and implements the plans.
- Establishes and maintains current customer and potential new customer relationships.
- Drives the entrepreneurial development of customer service activities.
- Takes full P&L responsibility for Nigeria.
- Maintains and builds up Key Account Management in close collaboration with the Business Units.
- Screens emerging markets for new upcoming projects.
- Understands and focuses on customer needs.
- Prepares annual sales and cost budget.
- Implements cluster business development as per the business plan.
- CRM: Utilization and responsibility for dedicated data set.
Required qualifications
- University degree, business administration or engineering.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the industry, including experience P&L management and people responsibility.
- Knowledge of Grains and Food processing, e.g., based on his current role with experience, certificates, degree.
- Excellent market knowledge of Africa.
- Fluent communication in English, knowledge in French would be an added advantage.
- Proven ability to work in a matrix organization.

- Business Knowledge: Knowledge of major value drivers of customer P&L, and ability to explain the impact of Buhler services.
