COVID-19: Four more deaths, as Lagos confirms 139 new cases

Lagos State Government has confirmed that Four more patient has died of COVID-19-related complications at the isolation centre, bringing the total number of fatalities in the state to 46.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, revealed this via his Twitter handle on Friday.

He also announced that the state confirmed 139 new COVID-19 Infection, bringing the total number to 3,109.

He tweeted, “139 new COVID-19 Infection confirmed in Lagos. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lagos is now 3,109.

“13 fully recovered #COVID19Lagos patients – four females and nine males – were discharged.

“This brings the total number of #COVID19 discharged patients in Lagos to 662.

“Four more COVID-19-related deaths were recorded in Lagos bringing the total of such deaths to 46.”
