COVID-19: Nigeria records 226 new cases, total infections now 6,401

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 226 new cases of the COVID-19 in Nigeria, bringing the country’s total number of infections to 6,401.

The NCDC disclosed this late on Tuesday via its verified Twitter handle.

NCDC also confirmed that a total number of 1,734 persons have recovered from the virus, with the country recording a total of COVID-19 related death of 192.
