COVID-19: Two more patient dies of disease in Lagos

The Lagos State Government on Tuesday has again recorded the deaths of two more COVID-19 patients, as the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the state rises to 16, with 379 confirmed cases

The state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, who revealed this on his Twitter handle, @ProfAkinAbayomi, noted that the dead patients were a 45-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman.

“One of the deceased was a 45-year-old Nigerian; male who returned from India in January, 2020.

“The second death involved a 36-year-old Nigerian; female with severe underlying health condition. She had no history of travel or contact with any #COVID19 confirmed case.

“Total number of #COVID19 related deaths in Lagos now stands at 16,” He tweeted.
