COVID-19:Nigeria confirms 91 new cases, with total of 40 deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 91 new cases of the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria, bringing the country’s total infections to 1,273.

The NCDC on Sunday in a tweet via its verified handle showed that 43 of the new infections were recorded in Lagos, 8 in Sokoto, and 6 in Taraba.

It also confirms that the country has recorded total deaths of 40 related COVID-19 symptoms, while 239 have recovered.
