CR&S Manager at Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group

Job Summary

  • As a CR&S Manager, you’ll lead the charge in crafting and implementing the team’s annual sustainability strategies and budgets, ensuring alignment with our focus on Cocoa, Cotton, Cashew, and Sesame.
  • You’ll also spearhead communication with Heads of Departments for thorough reviews and approvals.
  • Your role will be pivotal in fostering strong, collaborative relationships between the company (WACOT) and our host communities, while also driving high-level engagement with key stakeholders, including donor partners, certification bodies, and industry organizations.

Requirements

  • An academic degree in agriculture-related fields, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or other related fields.
  • Sound understanding of the Cocoa, Cotton, Cashew, and Sesame industries in Nigeria and globally. Sound understanding of managing sustainability certification teams and programs such as UTZ/RA, Organic, and Fairtrade certifications.
  • A good understanding of Finance for budgeting functions, certification premium management, and donor funding applications and management.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, Research and Business Development, Stakeholder Management, and Out-grower Program Management.
  • A passionate and self-driven personality.
  • Being a fast-paced company, we are looking for a self-starter. You need to be efficient on an independent basis as well as staying in close collaboration with business heads and teams.
