Purpose Statement
We are looking to hire a Data Analyst who will be responsible for managing our data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data and analytics, a very fine eye for details, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases with the ability to use data to inform strategy and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Conduct data and statistical analysis to design efficient operating systems with maximum optimization.
- Designing dashboards and data summaries for technical and non-technical audiences and facilitating the implementation of business strategies and missions.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Ensure data quality and integrity.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
- Conceive, plan, and prioritize data projects.
- Build analytic systems and predictive models.
- Test performance of data-driven products.
- Visualize data and create reports.
- Experiment with new models and techniques.
- Align data projects with organizational goals.
- Work with the engineering team to automate and implement machine learning projects.
Preferred Qualification & Requirements
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar role as a data analyst.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- An analytical mindset and problem-solving come naturally to you.
- Experience using Microsoft PowerBI to create reports and dashboards
- Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Comfortable with identifying relevant metrics, and execution processes and keeping an eye out for details.
- Excellent logical thinking, keen user insight, and creative, and habitual data-driven working methods.
- Highly organized, multi-tasking skills, take ownership.
- Proven track record of excellence, delivering outcomes with integrity and efficiency.
- A high degree of intelligence, communication, and analytical skills
- Business Intelligence tools- SQL Server, Power BI, etc.
- Financial markets experience is preferred.
