Job Description
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data on shipments such as delivery times to identify trends and patterns.
- Create reports and dashboards to present findings and insights to stakeholders, including QC manager, operations managers, and company executives.
Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Monitor & track KPIs, such as on-time delivery rates, transit times, and damage rates to be able to identify poor performing sites.
Operational Efficiency and Optimization:
- Analyze data on operational processes, such as warehousing and delivery.
Identify Inefficiencies and Bottlenecks:
- Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in operational processes and develop recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration and Communication with other departments:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including operation managers, finance team, and customer service, to understand their data needs and requirements.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on data analysis and interpretation.
Data Management and Governance:
- Develop and maintain data systems to support operations department.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation, cleansing, and normalization.
Skills Required
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND
- 2 – 5 years work experience.
- Proficiency in Data Analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL or Python and Data visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint or Tableau.
- Have knowledge of logistic operations.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be attentive to detail.
- Must possess analytical skills.
