Demand Planning Manager at Food Concepts Plc

Job Description

  • Strategy Development and Implementation
  • Develop and prepare demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
  • Support Annual Business Planning/monthly forecasting process by driving volume and value forecasting.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Provide input to Supply chain Plan in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs (volume planning for latest estimates / annual process).
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Demand Planning Operations
  • Manage historical data to generate yearly forecasts for all items across board.
  • Collate and arrange weekly direct and indirect items request for all QSR Stores.
  • Weekly upload of dry goods requisition from all QSR onto SAP for warehouse to supply.
  • Generated sales orders shared with all warehouses the day before supply.
  • Forward collated direct items (Chicken, Chips, NBC) requisition to procurement for order placement.
  • Convene weekly internal meeting with SCD supervisory team to identify unavailable items in warehouse and prompt procurement to initiate supply.
  • Escalate issues from QSR for both direct and indirect items supply to the necessary stakeholder within the department for timely resolution.
  • Monthly update of QSR stock movement on excel sheet.
  • Monthly reconciliation of stock movement against forecast to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Periodical walkthrough of the warehouse to confirm and update all item Store Keeping Unit.
  • Revision and update all working templates with current prices, unit of measurement and material ID on SAP.
  • Keep abreast of market changes and trends that could affect demand of stock items.
  • Coordination of buffer stock to QSR during seasonal holidays and extended weekends.
  • Spot check at random QSR store to ensure proper stock management and practice to avoid B&D
  • Weekly session and analysis of NBC order fulfillment against request with NBC representatives.
  • Weekly query and closure of open, in-process and in-preparation sales order on SAP
