Your primary responsibility is in creating and developing quality and luxury interior design ideas for clients. You are to produce architectural working drawings including all details for doors, kitchen cabinets, kitchenette, wardrobes, wall claddings, TV consoles, accessories, and other interior designs. Managing all aspects of the company’s high-end furniture and interior designs installation from start to finish. Maintains Agor Homes corporate strategies and goals while creating and maintaining work processes to meet client expectations and critical timelines. Functions as the primary contact for projects by overseeing moderate to large-scale furniture and interior projects from beginning to completion, with an emphasis on cost effectiveness and customer service. You are responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects at various stages. Responsible for managing customers budget and working with production while optimizing quality work.
Job Responsibilities
- Drawing, creating, and developing design concepts of all furniture products.
- Communicating design goals.
- Understand and interpret customer requirements into rough drawings.
- You will work with your team through drawings and execution of furniture designs.
- Work with sales and production team on new designs for clients.
- Designing exterior and interior furnishings.
- Explaining design details to production team to ensure accuracy.
- Conducting market research to gauge for new designs and product improvements.
- Manage and oversee all business aspects of multiple concurrent Agor Homes projects, and ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining our products which includes doors, cabinets, wardrobes, interior designs, and other products established quality standards.
- Act as the point of contact for Agor Homes clients for all project communications during the project process.
- Take proper measurements and communicate clients’ specification to Production Manager and quality control.
- Survey site with team to determine site readiness.
- Plan and oversee delivery and good finishing installations, including assigning task and target, evaluating performance of work, installation administration, and timeliness of task completion.
- Serve as a single point of contact and work with contractors, site supervisors, building managers, electricians, other client’s facility managers and others.
- Drive team in providing day to day project management for multiple projects.
- Collaborate with Production department to meet Clients’ requirements/expectations and ensuring projects meet deadlines.
- Ensure that installation drawings are accurate and complete, and that any additional information required for installation is provided to the carpenters/Installers.
- Schedule pre-installation and post-installation meetings with production manager, quality control and installers.
- Analyse and resolve all site issues.
- Conduct general quality inspection of work done on site by our carpenters/installers to identify and resolve inefficiency of the installers and site issues.
- Attend site meetings and act as point of contact for clients and the company for all project communication during execution process.
- Maintain detailed project documentation of key project decisions and clients /project requests and revision.
- Provide timely and formal written communication throughout project execution period and disseminate all critical information to clients and projects teams.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly project status update during operations or management meetings.
- Manage project performance against scheduled milestones on multiple projects.
- Facilitate initiations of critical project meetings with key stake holders and clients and coordination of project team, carpenters/installers.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and manage the successful execution of projects so that completion falls within intended timeframes.
- Maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, customer retention and quality service.
- You are to constantly manage and mitigate areas of concern regarding the company’s reputation, errors, and omissions.
- Provides support and direction to our sales team.
- Assist the procurement in activities associated with materials, budgeting and working with production team for assigned projects.
- Assist in providing ongoing performance feedback and evaluating top performers in your team.
- You will develop and manage the project team by setting clear objectives and expectations.
- Training project team and carpenters/installers on skills and understanding procedures on installations and good finishings on site.
Job Requirements
- First Degree in Architecture/Design or Engineering
- Project Management certification is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of international furnishings & luxury Designs.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ extensive experience in Project Management.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Interior design/Architecture within the furniture manufacturing Industry.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in a furniture manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of bespoke furniture manufacturing.

- Ability to use design software: ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Solid, 2D,3D designs, Solid works, Google Sketch up etc.
- In-depth knowledge of design and product development process.

- General understanding of furniture product utilization, including architectural integration with the ability to manage small to medium projects.
- Ability to be proactive and deliver results.
