  • We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director of Studies to join our senior leadership team.
  • The successful candidate will oversee the academic curriculum and ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning are maintained throughout the school.
  • The Director of Studies will play a crucial role in developing and implementing educational strategies that align with the school’s mission and goals, fostering an environment of academic excellence and innovation.

JOB DESCRIPTION / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school’s academic programs and curriculum.
  • Ensure compliance with national and local educational standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and assess the quality of teaching and learning across all departments, providing feedback and support to teachers
  • Collaborate with teachers and department heads to design and implement effective instructional strategies and assessment methods.
  • Oversee the professional development of teaching staff, including organizing training sessions and workshops.
  • Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance student outcomes
  • Stay current with educational trends, research, and best practices, integrating relevant innovations into the school’s academic programs.
  • Represent the school in academic matters to external stakeholders, including educational authorities and the broader community

QUALIFICATION

  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field; a doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an educational leadership role, preferably within a school setting.
  • Proven track record of successful curriculum development and academic program management.
  • Strong knowledge of educational standards, assessment methods, and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to drive decision-making and improvements
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
