Job Description
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of DC-LOS staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and provide updates.
- Oversee receiving and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy of shipment dispatch to minimize errors, missort and misrouting.
- Collaborate with other departments, including warehouse, LTL, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination.
- Analyze data and inbound shipments to implement process improvements to optimize workflow.
- Other duties as operational requirements demand.
Education Requirements
- HND / B.Sc. Social Sciences, Logistics Management
Competency and Skills Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a logistics hub supervisor
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Proficient in standard logistics software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
