Responsibilities
- Carry out daily maintenance checks on vehicles. Ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy before starting on their journey including tyres, petrol, oil and lubricants
- Driving staff members daily to desired destinations
- Maintain strict confidentiality on all conversations and information heard during transport assignments
- Ensure vehicle license and other relevant papers are up-to-date
- Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction
- Keeping the vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance
- Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours
- Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing
- Ensure all service appointments are kept
- Running errands and other duties
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management
- Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor/line Manager
Qualification
- 4 years work experience.
