Job Duties
- Convey company personnel and products to scheduled locations. Products to be delivered to scheduled locations in good conditions.
- Wash, Clean and maintain assigned vehicle(s)
- Servicing of assigned vehicles must be done at scheduled times.
- Carryout vehicle check (water, fuel, oil, tyres, mirrors, brake system, lights, etc) before taking the vehicle out.
- Request and fill vehicle tank with petrol. Fuel usage must be within budget
- Identify suppliers/shops where products are procured for pickups or returns.
- Promptly report fault(s) in assigned vehicle and ensure it is repaired timely.
- Ensure all vehicle documents are updated. Drivers license must be valid at all times
- Accompany porters from suppliers’ shops to vehicle and load procured products.
- Load and Offload products from market to store; from HQ to branches; etc
- Any other assigned duties
Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidates should possess a School Cert. / OND / Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Driver in a retail chain business
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong driving skills.
- Navigation.
- Basic maintenance knowledge.
- Great patience.
- Efficiency and time-management.
- Problem-solving.
- Always on the alert
- Mechanical skills
- A sense of responsibility
- Constant driver for improvement
- Detail-oriented.
- Sound knowledge of Lagos roads.
- Able to interpret traffic situation correctly
