Eid-el-Maulud: Imbibe the virtues of Prophet Muhammad, Tinubu urges Muslims

President Bola Tinubu has urged Muslims across the nation to offer prayers for Nigeria, emphasizing that the country is at a critical juncture as his administration takes essential steps to ensure its security and economic prosperity.

In a statement titled ‘Eid-el-Maulud: Imbibe the virtues of Prophet Muhammad, Tinubu urges Muslims,’ and signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu extended his congratulations to Muslims in Nigeria and beyond on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud celebration.

He encouraged them to live in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

President Tinubu stressed that beyond the festivities marking the Holy Prophet’s birthday, this period should be a time for deep introspection and fervent prayers.

He called on adherents to make a conscious effort to follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), citing valuable lessons in devotion, perseverance, tolerance, humility, and selflessness that can be learned from the Prophet’s life.

The President urged religious leaders to use this period for prayers on behalf of the country and to encourage their followers to draw meaningful lessons from the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as they commit themselves to the betterment of the nation.
