Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team specializing in electrical panel production. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing electrical panels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Develop electrical schematics including (layouts, power diagrams, and control diagrams) that adhere to specifications, standards, and client requirements.
• Work closely with sales and production teams to validate design concepts and ensure seamless integration.
• Specify and select components for switchboard assembly.
• Analyze designs for optimization, considering factors like performance and cost.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the design phase.
• Assist during manufacturing and testing to ensure smooth production.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement processes.
• Price audit and quotation approval of the company’s products.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.

Requirements

• Proven 5 years’ experience in electrical switchboard design.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD for schematic creation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
