Overview
- As a member of the Panel Building Team, you will work alongside our Project Managers, Electrical Engineering, and Machine Builders to electrically and mechanically assemble and test electrical control panels and other electrical equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Read electrical schematics.
- Layout and assemble electrical panels.
- Wire components on electrical panels and enclosures.
- Cut electrical enclosures and mount components.
- Install panels into enclosures.
- Wire components on enclosures.
- Assist wiring equipment.
- Communicate with the electrical designer to clarify any issues or relay any corrections or changes to the electrical design.
- Fully review own work for accuracy and quality.
- Check parts out from stock as needed.
- Mentor and help guide Panel Builder I.
- Adhere to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment for employees.
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum of 6 years experience in a similar role
- 3+ years of control/machine wiring or maintenance
Job Competencies:
- Capable of following electrical schematics.
- General knowledge National Electrical Code.
- Skilled at using volt meters to troubleshoot devices and other standard testing devices.
- Knowledgeable and experienced working safely with 415 volts.
- High attention to detail.
