Employee Experience Manager at Grand Oak Limited

Purpose of Job

  • Managing and monitoring employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • To assess employee satisfaction, while developing and implementing strategies, tactics and activities for delivering an overall positive employee experience.

Functionally reports to: HR Director

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a robust organization design process for sustainable, regular and proactive fit-for-purpose organization structure and culture, that maintains top business performance, high organization effectiveness and, top talent retention & engagement
  • Ensure all jobs are professionally evaluated and graded. Maintain equity by regularly and proactively reviewing job evaluation to ensure all grades are current and reflect current job profile. All jobs must have up to date job descriptions and grades
  • Design and implement systems and programmes that identifies, rewards and retains high performing & high potential employees; effectively deploying talent differentiation strategy that retains and engages top and critical talents
  • Implement a robust and effective performance management system that leverages technology and supports short, medium and long term organization’s strategic business plan
  • Develop, align, get approved and implement the organisation’s reward and recognition philosophy, that ensures internal and external equity, talent differentiation and fully aligned with the Business Strategy and yearly business plans
  • Implement regular monitoring of rewards practices to ensure continuous alignment with strategic business plan as well as maintenance of internal and external equity e.g. regular reward benchmarking, specialized surveys for critical job positions, competitive surveys, trend analysis and best practice research
  • Design, align, get approved and implement robust and efficient culture survey and employee feedback mechanisms, to regularly and proactively monitor the climate of the organization and the engagement of our workforce; to drive continuous improvement in Net Promoter Score and consistent reduction of talent turnover
  • Steadily digitize talent management processes and systems and continuously improve quality of talent services to business units and functions

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree within a related field
  • 8+ years in a similar role and capacity
  • Experience managing projects
  • Experience managing at least 2 key areas of the talent process (Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Career management/Succession planning, Recruitment and Selection, Learning and Development)
  • Proactive, consultative, and client service oriented
  • Strong people and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong advisory, analytical and research skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Membership of CIPM or other recognized HR institute would be a plus
