Fabrication Supervisor at Nigerian Foundries Group

Salary Range: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000/month

As a Fabrication Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal products, components or structures. You will be expected to have at least 5 years of experience in the field of fabrication and welding, as well as leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal products, components or structures.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to plan and direct the fabrication process.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer needs.
  • Monitor the quality of work and inspect finished products for accuracy, conformance to specifications, and overall quality.
  • Provide leadership and direction to employees, including training, coaching, and development.
  • Review work orders and production schedules to determine material requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of materials and supplies.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in fabrication, welding, or related field.
  • Knowledge of fabrication techniques, including cutting, bending, and welding.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • HND / Bsc. or diploma or equivalent, with additional education or training in welding, fabrication, or a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in hot or cold environments.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
