- To assist in management of the hospital facility and utility
Summary of Responsibilities
- Inspect and monitor use of all company facilities including physical structures, generators, mechanical and electrical installation.
- Supervise the fleet management to ensure that adequate transportation is provided for staff and for daily operations.
- Project manage and provide supervisory oversight on all construction, refurbishing and installation
- Inspect and monitor use of company facilities and assets
- Monitor unit’s annual budget while employing cost control methods
- Maintain records of inventory level, check periodically to determine needs and initiate actions to replenish stocks
- Update facilities policy and monitor adherence.
- Plan and review requests for all maintenance and prepare maintenance schedules
- Carry out vendor selection, evaluation, manage data base/ relationships with utility service providers for prompt provision of services.
Job Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering or related field
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of issues related to facility management, contract management, purchasing and supply.
- 5-8 years cognate experience in facility management within a structured organization.
