Job Description

  • We are seeking a motivated and experienced Facility Supervisor to join our team. As a Facility Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our facility, ensuring that it remains a safe and efficient working environment for our employees.
  • Your primary goal will be to manage the day-to-day activities of the facility, coordinate maintenance tasks, and supervise the facility staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring its smooth functioning and adherence to safety standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance, repairs, and renovations to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the facility staff, including maintenance technicians, janitorial staff, and security personnel.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and prolong the lifespan of facility assets.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address facility maintenance and safety issues promptly.
  • Monitor and manage facility budgets, including expenses for repairs, maintenance supplies, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve facility processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in facility management is a plus.
  • 2 years work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Facility Supervisor or in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and safety practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, vendors, and contractors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and work within cost constraints.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Physical stamina to perform occasional manual labor and work in various environmental conditions.
