The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has announced a new date for the National Youth Conference.
The National Youth Conference, which was originally scheduled to hold from 12th – 15th October 2021 in Abuja, has been moved to November 1st – 3rd, 2021.
This was contained in a statement issued by the ministry on Wednesday.
The new date was picked in recognition of the fact that in 2020, the Federal Government designated 1st November of each year as the National Youth Day, hence the decision by the Ministry to hold the conference beginning from Monday 1st to Wednesday 3rd November 2021.
The statement said, “The venue remains the Velodrome inside the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
“The Ministry of Youth and Sports is committed to working towards a more inclusive and sustainable national development programme for the youth of our country and regrets whatever inconvenience the shift in date may have caused.”
