Job Summary
- As the Finance and Inventory Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate accounting functions and inventory control processes.
- Your role will include supporting the finance department in achieving its financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Account receivable and payable
- Maintaining all financial records for the organization through proper documentation and producing accounting reports
- Timely posting of all financial transactions in the accounting software
- Review all payment requests and vouchers and ensure that payments are made according to the company policies.
- Account balance management and financial disbursements
- Ensure monthly bank reconciliation of all bank accounts regularly.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliation exercises.
- Keep records of purchases, suppliers, sales, and customers.
- Ensure that suppliers are paid as at when due and reconcile their account regularly.
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with recorded stock levels.
- Inventory management and stock reconciliation
- Inventory reporting
- Assist with audit preparation
- Assist with bank reconciliations, petty cash management, voucher compilation
- Ensure that VAT and Taxes are cleared promptly.
- Resolve payment issues and follow up with payments and bill submission.
- Posting of retirement of advances and ensuring that cash advances are retired on time in line with thecompany’s policies.
- Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial-related issues.
- All other duties as assigned

- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receiving, storing, and dispatching products.
- Track inventory levels across multiple locations and with delivery agents.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure that minimum stock levels are maintained and flag when reordering is needed.
- Ensure timely stock replenishment and accurate inventory counts.
