About the role:
- The Finance assistant will assist the financial department in keeping track of the Company’s day-to-day financial matters.
- You will be responsible for organising accounting documents and payroll, and you may be expected to work on a few administrative projects.
Duties
- Processing payments and invoices.
- Completing and submitting tax returns, VAT returns and national insurance.
- Updating computerised accounting systems.
- Preparing and distributing checks to employees and vendors where required.
- Scanning, filing and logging of account documents.
- Handling of receivables and payables.
- Preparation of invoices.
- Preparation of Bank reconciliations.
- Checking and updating ledger balances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in accounting, finance or any related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years working experience as a Finance Assistant.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Good time management skills.
- Strong organisation and multitasking skills
