Job Description
As a Founder’s Associate – Finance,
- You will work closely with the founders, to support the core business of our finance department, and all aspects of the company’s bookkeeping, financial management, ad-hoc analyses, and some month-end reporting as well as other ad-hoc tasks.
- Working in a dynamic and fast-growing tech company, the role requires the individual to be a fast learner and open-minded about evolving finance and administration tasks to support the needs of the company as we grow.
- We expect you to be happy to do your daily routines and also show a willingness to learn and take on more advanced tasks as you gain experience.
Responsibilities
- Preparing financial projection models.
- Processing and preparing financial statements.
- Downloading statement of account and upload it on QuickBooks.
- Updating financial records, and managing invoices.
- Suggesting improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and reducing costs.
- Monitoring incoming receipts, chasing late payments, and performing credit control.
- Maintaining financial records and filing systems, ensuring they are audit-ready.
Requirements
You are a good fit for this role if you have;
- Educational background in Accounting or Finance (Not for students).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Accounting software (E.g. Sage, QuickBooks ZohoBooks).
- Good understanding of bookkeeping concepts and solid analytical skills.
- Professional certifications such as ACA or AAT will be an added advantage.
