JOB DECSRIPTION
- We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Gas Business Development Officer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying, pursuing, and fostering new gas business opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supports in identifying and pursuing new gas business opportunities, maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategies to grow the business.
- Supports the MD to develop and refine the company’s short-term and long-term gas business development strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify gas business growth opportunities.
- Participate in the development of business plans.
- Engage in active market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and execute relevant presentations to new and prospective partnerships.
- Engage in development of quarterly or annual marketing budget development and tracking marketing budget related expenses.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge about the gas business and industry trends.
- Maintain an all-inclusive client database system to serve as a guide for follow-up and other relationship management activities for prospective clients.
- Develop and recommend innovative strategies for gas business activation.
- Ensure compilation and timely delivery of progress reports to management team.
- Participate in industry related conferences and client fora.
- Formalize partnerships into JV’s where there is good commercia value.

- Have a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the gas or energy industry.
- Proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads, and closing deals.
- Experience in strategic planning and developing business strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to drive business growth.
- Experience in budget development and expense tracking related to marketing activities.
