Key Responsibilities
- Study design briefs and determine asset and design requirements
- Design company logos, letterheads, brochures, presentations and assets to be deployed across various platforms
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements and directions from creative manager or marketing head
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas to creative manager or marketing head
- Work with copywriter and the Creative Manager to produce the final design
- Test graphics across various media before deployment
- Touchup and edit images from online stock sources and those taken at company events
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Keep a regularly updated drive for visuals and assets
- Demonstrable UIX experience is an added advantage
- Experience with motion graphics is an added advantage
- Experience with photography is an added advantage
Skills Requirements:
- A strong portfolio of illustrations and other graphics
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as In Design, Illustrator, CorelDraw, and Photoshop)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with others in a team
- Ability to take feedback and rework design projects
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Ability to send creative designs through multiple approval processes and often work with several different people to get a job done
Education / Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Fine Arts or at least 4 years of experience in the field of design. Agency experience is preferred
- Experience in brand design and development, as well as brand communication is an added advantage.
