The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on Thursday has appealed to Nigerians to vote for the candidates of his party ahead of the Govenorship and state house of Assembly on Saturday, March 9.
Atiku equally seized the opportunity to commend those who voted for him on the 23rd February, noting that they should vote for PDP candidates in the coming gubernatorial and state house of assembly elections scheduled on the 9th of March 2019.
He said, “I appeal to Nigerians to turn out in your numbers to vote. Do not be discouraged by the conduct and outcome of the Presidential election. We are handling all issues arising from that election according to the law. So come out this Saturday. Vote, refrain from violence and protect your votes.”
“Please vote from top to bottom”, he added.
