President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his desire to see a greater number of Nigerian youths emulate the achievements of Chef Hilda Bassey Effiong, known as Hilda Baci.

Buhari commended Hilda for breaking the world record for the longest hours of cooking, earning her a place in the Guinness Book of Records and bringing global attention to Nigeria.

He expressed his hope that more young people would be inspired to follow in her footsteps.

The President expressed gratitude to the sponsors of the Hilda Baci Cook-a-thon, as well as government officials, including Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, celebrities from the thriving music and movie industry, and the chef’s fans for their unwavering support, which has brought honor to the country.
