Head of Sales at Speedaf Nigeria Limited

Job Summary:

  • We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead and manage our sales team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, exceptional strategic and tactical sales skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth.
  • The Head of Sales will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals, objectives, sales targets and actions
  • Set performance goals and provide coaching and feedback to team members. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify client needs and preferences to tailor logistics solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to create compelling sales proposals and collateral.
  • Implement sales tools, technologies, and CRM systems to support sales operations. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Adjust sales strategies as needed to remain competitive.
  • Monitor expenses, analyze budget variances, and make adjustments as needed to achieve financial goals.
  • Ensure that all sales activities and transactions adhere to legal and ethical standards.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct within the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in Logistics and Transportation, B2B and FMCG
  • Strong leadership, Team Development and Management. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies. Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in sales software, CRM systems, and data analysis tools
