Herdsmen kill 13 in Plateau state

13 people have been confirmed killed in a fresh attack launched by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen on Kwatas village in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Confirming the attack, the state’s police command said five others were critically injured and are receiving treatment at the general hospital in Bokkos.

Detectives, conventional policemen, and the police mobile force have been deployed to Kwatas which is a community neighbouring the Plateau State University in the central zone of the state.
