Job Summary:
- We seek an experienced and results-driven Higher Education Product Sales Representative to join our team.
- The successful candidate will promote and sell our higher education products to colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the higher education market, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve or exceed sales targets in the higher education market.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to showcase our products and services.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling existing customers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners in marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment and effective sales strategies.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of the higher education market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with higher education institutions, including community colleges, universities, and online education providers, is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with educational technology, including learning management systems, online course platforms, and student information systems.
