Hospital Administrator at Lagoon Hospitals

This is a medical administration role responsible for the daily operations of the hospital and providing oversight to hospital staff to ensure prompt delivery of service and appropriate quality care to patients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversight responsibility for smooth operations of the hospital on a daily basis
  • Ensure hospital is in compliance with policies and all regulatory requirements including state and local laws
  • Maintain a consistent level of quality care offered to patients
  • Monitor patient flow in all service points in the hospital and drive initiative for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor the adequacy of the hospital’s medical activities in conjunction with the leadership team.
  • Track and provide relevant reports on various hospital metrics.
  • Manage relationship with partner HMO and their enrollees
  • Timely resolution of grievances and complaints by patients
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Smooth running of the hospital and its services
  • Prompt management of customer’s grievances

Educational Qualifications

  • MBBS
  • Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and or relevant professional body with a valid medical practicing license.
  • Certifications or trainings in customer service, relationship management and business analysis are desired.

Key Competencies

  • Basic Life Support skill
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills with IT skills required for the use of EMR and Microsoft Office Packages
  • Knowledge of the Nigerian healthcare sector
  • Support and supervisory skills
  • Interpersonal and Management skills
