Hospital Store Officer at Finnih Medical Centre

Role and Responsibilitie

  • Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies and recordkeeping to ensure optimal stock levels of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
  • Implement inventory control measures to prevent theft, damage, or loss of supplies, and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, orders, or deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Monitor expiration dates and ensure stock is in good condition. If damaged, near expiration or no longer in good condition, escalate to the COO and coordinate methods to exhaust.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with various departments to forecast demand, monitor usage patterns, and anticipate inventory needs.
  • Preparing detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements, and profits.
  • Collaborate with all departments to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring the availability of specific supplies when required.
  • Coordinate with team leads to create and manage the budget for the store operations, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in medical equipment, and changes in regulations to make informed decisions about procurement and inventory management.
  • Follow and maintain the storage of vaccination and other medicines according to cold chain protocol.
  • Follow the procedures for labeling items going to each area to ensure safety, security and proper disposal.
  • Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Inspiring repeat business from clients
  • Monitoring and measuring client satisfaction
  • Conducting departmental and company-wide workshops and presentations
  • Contribute to developing and following procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • participating in marketing campaigns.
  • Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
  • Training and onboarding new staff
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Educational Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Store Officer or in a similar role
