As the House of Representatives prepares to resume legislative activities on Thursday, February 1, 2024, a bill addressing the regulation of organ harvesting, transplanting, and donations is set for debate.
Additionally, the Electoral Act Amendment bill will be a focal point in the chamber’s first legislative business for the year.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Rules and Business, Hon. Francis Waive, revealed a list of bills, including a “Bill for an Act to amend the Professional Bodies (Special Provision) Act, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004” among others, to be discussed during the session.
