The ideal candidate would be responsible for maintaining the system, implementing (process) improvements, ensuring data quality and analysing and reporting on the data in the HRIS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
- Optimise HRIS processes.
- Integrate new software and perform diagnostic tests.
- Perform statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and run queries.
- Ensure the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics, including attendance and employee performance data.
- Keep track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS.
- Provide optimum functionality to ensure data integrity and security.
- Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required.
- Work with HR, Finance and IT to maintain and improve the HRIS, including configuration, end-user access, security and system efficiency.
- Support critical system maintenance and operational tasks within the HRIS.
- Provide useful reports, assist with budgeting and forecasting for labour relations, and analyse data flows for process improvement opportunities.
- Maintain and develop the HRIS procedures manual and distribution of all changes to the appropriate teams.
- Serve as a help desk for HRIS requests (detect, troubleshoot and resolve issues).
- Perform other activities assigned by the top management.
Person Specification:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Computer Science or other related fields.
- Hands-on experience with analysing HRIS and HR performance metrics and statistics.
- Confident in keeping up to date with technical innovation and trends in HRIS analysis.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience in staff data management.
- Experience in working in an agile delivery environment.
- Must understand the system development lifecycle process.
- Ability to work interdependently and as part of a team.
