HSE Assistant at Golden Oil Industries Limited

Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to the health, safety and environment department.
  • Coordinate and ensure document management and data entry of HSE files under various information systems as part of the OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
  • Assist the Senior HSE Coordinator with Health and Safety monitoring activities.
  • follow the schedules of HSE activities: training, internal and external audit, internal / external inspection, HSE Management Review, etc.
  • Update of HSE performance and compliance indicators.
  • Maintain regular visibility in production areas
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Hazard Assessments and Safe Work Practices Assist with Investigations and Root Cause Analysis and the implementation corrective actions
  • Work with Vendors and order specialty safety supplies when required
  • Attend H&S training sessions as needed
  • Any other related tasks as required by management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in HSE field and as administrative assistant (required).
  • B.sc in environmental science or related field
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal personal relation
  • Knowledge of Micro soft Offices e.g. MS Word, MS Excel.
  • Must be a good team player.
  • Self-motivated with a result driven approach, Problem- solving skill.
