Job Description
- As HSE Officer, the individual would report to the QHSE Manager and would be responsible for the following:
- Prepare weekly HSE activities flash and communicate reviewed copy to management
- Conduct HSE audits and inspections of workshop/Offices to ensure compliance with HD procedures
- In conjunction with the QHSE Manager upload/input updates to HSE documentation and distribute accordingly
- Maintain administrative records for the HSE department
- Follow up the delivery of internal actions towards meeting departmental target
- Act as personal assistance to the QHSE Manager
- Retrieve update HOC report on database daily/weekly/monthly and ensure implementation of follow up actions to close identified gaps.
- Arrange HSE meeting according to plan and produce minutes of the meeting
- Liaise with line departments/monitor the implementation of the HSE action to ensure timely and adequate close out with line departments.
- Liaise with line departments to get weekly/monthly HSE inputs for HSE reports and statistical updates
- Conduct HSE Trainings and Incident Investigation & Reporting
Key Competencies Required
- Competent in the use of computer and basic application (word, excel and PowerPoint)
- Preparation of reports
- Administrative knowledge
- Supervisory skill
- HSE Certification
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 (QMS) and 45001 (OHS) Management systems
Qualifications:
- A first degree in Engineering, Natural Science or Humanities
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience as an HSE Officer.
