Human Resources Information System Analyst at PalmPay

Job Description

  • The ideal candidate would be responsible for maintaining the system, implementing (process) improvements, ensuring data quality and analysing and reporting on the data in the HRIS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
  • Optimise HRIS processes.
  • Integrate new software and perform diagnostic tests.
  • Perform statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and run queries.
  • Ensure the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics, including attendance and employee performance data.
  • Keep track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS.
  • Provide optimum functionality to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required.
  • Work with HR, Finance and IT to maintain and improve the HRIS, including configuration, end-user access, security and system efficiency.
  • Support critical system maintenance and operational tasks within the HRIS.
  • Provide useful reports, assist with budgeting and forecasting for labour relations, and analyse data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop the HRIS procedures manual and distribution of all changes to the appropriate teams.
  • Serve as a help desk for HRIS requests (detect, troubleshoot and resolve issues).
  • Perform other activities assigned by the top management.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Computer Science or other related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with analysing HRIS and HR performance metrics and statistics.
  • Confident in keeping up to date with technical innovation and trends in HRIS analysis.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience in staff data management.
  • Experience in working in an agile delivery environment.
  • Must understand the system development lifecycle process.
  • Ability to work interdependently and as part of a team.
