Job Summary

  • To formulate Human Resources Strategies and seek their effective implementation across the different Branches and Business Units, including: Human Capital Management, Talent Acquisition and Development, Compensation and Benefits, and Performance Management, and manage Human Resource operations, policies, and procedures to meet Jubaili Bros corporate strategy, goals and objectives and actively communicate to employees a clear understanding of applicable HR procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop departmental strategy as cascaded from the functional strategy and oversee its implementation within own section and its operations, in order to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies across Jubaili
  • Manage the sectional team of direct and indirect reports through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning, in order to maximize team performance and achieve sectional objectives.
  • Manage the section’s daily operations by providing expertise, enabling teamwork, and aligning processes, in order to achieve high performance standards and meet established targets.
  • Contribute to the development and consolidation of the departmental budget and monitor own section’s financial performance versus the budget, in order to ensure the exercising of financial authority within established limits and the control of sectional budget expenditure.
  • Plan and Manage the implementation of Manpower Planning and Recruitment activities, by directing the Recruitment Officer on analyzing the current manpower inventory, making future forecasts, enhancing and developing recruitment research, collaborating with recruitment and education agencies, and following up the recruitment process to the point of job offers preparations, to ensure sound application and efficiency.
  • Training and development and Analyzing training needs, designing training programs, and following up on the effective implementation of those programs across different branches and functions to ensure optimal effectiveness.
  • Direct and audit the processing and closing of monthly payroll accounts, conduct salaries reviews and prepare list of bonuses and monetary incentives for employees post management approval.
  • Cross-check and approve travel arrangements and booking done by and ensure ongoing reduction in costs, and follow-up on visa and logistics preparations in order to ensure proper facilitation of missions done abroad on a timely basis.
  • Communicate, and Roll-out performance management process, communicating with deferent departments and functions, and facilitating data collections and analyses, to report to management accordingly. As well, manage the grievances escalated from the process.
  • Follow-up and provide support on all Human Resources related administrative issues, by upgrading HRIS systems, maintaining and updating the company organization charts and job descriptions, reviewing and upgrading HR handbook of policies, coordinating with Top Management on new regulations and policies, and conducting employees Exit interviews, to ensure the compliance of all HR policies, procedures and applications to the applied National labor laws.
  • Human Resources reports in order to ensure that the direct superior and top management have the relevant information needed to support operational and strategic decision-making in a timely manner.
  • Attend job fairs, seminars, conferences, and other invitations to ensure ongoing networking to increase awareness on Jubaili Bros products and increase network.
  • Contribute to the development and manage the communication and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, in order to ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are clearly communicated and duly fulfilled.
  • Contribute to the management of departmental compliance to all relevant health, safety and Environmental requirements, in order to guarantee employee safety and legislative compliance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or equivalent. Masters is a plus
  • 5 years of which in a supervisory role.
  • 10 to 12 years of experience in a similar industry
  • Exceptional Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead talents, develop potential and be innovative.
  • Professional HR qualification is a plus (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD).
