Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Selection: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure timely hiring of qualified individuals.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the company.
- Employee Relations: Promote positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances. Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters, such as performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Performance Management: Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and performance improvement plans. Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- HR Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Generate reports on HR metrics and analyze trends to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
General Requirements/Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
- Proven Prior experience in an HR role.
Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze HR data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Able to receive constructive feedback.
Educational Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum of University degree
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
- Good schedule control and reporting skills
- Professional certifications such as CIPM, and PHRI can be advantageous
