I’ll Maintain Signed Peace Accord — Ganduje

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has said in spite of ongoing breaks of peace accord by associated supporters with restriction parties in parts of the state, he and All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state will keep on submitting to the understanding.

He talked, yesterday, preceding the initiation of State Executive Council, SEC, meeting, demanding that, all decision forms from start to finish should be quiet.

“Just recently we signed a peace accord with other political parties. As far as our great party, All Progressives Congress, APC, is concerned, we will abide by it,” Ganduje stated.

He encouraged APC dependable to be deliberate and behave calmly amid and after the imminent decisions, beginning on Saturday,

He said “We urge our people to always be peaceful while election is taking place. Just as we did during our campaign period, we abhor brandishing of any form of weapon.”

Ganduje encouraged gathering supporters not to scare the electorate amid the surveys, including: “The coming elections, starting with the presidential, must be peaceful and we are hoping it to be peaceful and victorious from the part of our candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari.”

On security in towards the election, Ganduje guaranteed that the state government with other security offices in the state has set up essential procedures for serene elections.
