Import Specialist at Kerildbert

Duties

  • Review and documentation of import jobs received from the client.
  • racking of shipments and requests for vessel information.
  • Drafting duty assessment on the customs portal, verifying and submitting final SGD to the client. Giving regular reports on updates to the client.
  • Ensuring speedy resolution of issues that arise in the course of the import clearance process.
  • Fast-tracking the process of delivery by liaising with transport brokers
  • Processing invoices and evaluating clients’ bill of lading statements of account for invoice dispute resolution.
  • Interfacing with the port clerks for an update on customs examination and clearance process of ongoing jobs.
  • Ensure documents required for foreign exchange by the bank are submitted to the client in a timely manner
  • Compiling invoice documents required to process the client’s clearing invoice.
  • Opening new job files and updating shipping information on the intranet.
  • Ensure documents required for foreign exchange by the bank are submitted to the client in a timely manner.
  • Arranging for NAFDAC to get the first endorsement.
  • Any other assignment as may be given or available with the department

 Qualification

  •  BSc /HND in any disciplining
  • Student Member of the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain is an added advantage.
