INEC– 1,733,479 PVCs distributed In Taraba

Ahead of Saturday’s election, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has said a sum of 1,733,479 Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs have been distributed to electorates in Taraba state.

The Commission’s Public Relations Officer, Fabian Yame revealed this to newsmen on Thursday in Jalingo. As indicated by him, the all out number of enlisted voters in Taraba state is 1,777,105.

He said 43, 626 PVCs are yet to be distributed while, 1,733, 479 have been guaranteed by their proprietors as toward the end of the practice on Monday.

He likewise included that an extra 428,727 new voters had any kind of effect between the absolute number of enlisted voters in 2015 and 2019 decisions.

Yame stated, the quantity of enlisted voters in the 2015 general races was 1,348,358, while those for the 2019 general races are 1,777,105.
