The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) registration centre launched in Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) last week Wednesday is set to close tomorrow, March 22nd, 2022.
Residents of the LCDA has been advised to take advantage of this opportunity to get their PVC ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Recall that the Chairman of LCDA, David Olusegun Odunmbaku, had on Wednesday informed all the residents about the opening of the registration centre in the council area.
The Chief Press Secretary, Jumu’ah Abiodun to the Chairman disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Ojodu.
According to the statement, the registration will take place at the council Secretariat from Wednesday, March 16, at 10 am daily, and end Tuesday, March 22, 2022.
The council boss explained further that there would be no limit to how many Ojodu residents could enter the council secretariat for the registration/revalidation exercise.
“This is to inform all residents of Ojodu LCDA that INEC continuous voter registration begins at the council tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10am and closes March 22,” Odunmbaku said.
He added that: “All residents of the council area can now do new voter pre-registration, transfer their existing voters’ cards to their new addresses.”
