Role Summary
- As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be working both on and offshore on critical drilling equipment, within the oil and gas industry.
Essential Responsibilities
- Carry out all deployments to the best of your ability following all EHS and environmental policies.
- Interact with customers in a professional manner
- Be committing to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Carry out Customer Support activities in the field by:
- Performing Software and Hardware upgrades and updates.
- Performing tests as directed by technical documents and recording the results.
- Carrying out troubleshooting and rectification tasks on the BOP MUX system.
- Liaising with the customer and ensuring the values of the company are upheld.
- Upload all reports and expenses to the Box folders for the Job/ Project
- Be safe and look after the safety of other communicating both good and bad via “Concern Report”
Qualifications / Requirements
- HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering with at least 4 years working experience
- Experience with Electronic and Electrical Systems and Networks.
- Experience in the defect diagnosis and repair on electrical and electronic systems.
- Experience installing and testing of new electrical components and systems.
- Experience calibrating pressure transducers.
- Good knowledge of MS office suite (Word, Excel)
- Good communication skills
