Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead Internal Audit Compliance.
  • Review of existing processes, policies and procedures and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with all company’s processes, policies and procedures.
  • Carrying out periodic tests to uncover fraud and irregularities in the system
  • Supervise the Cost Control Team for overall efficiency
  • Proper Review and Sign Off of Vouchers/Requests to give the MD/CEO, Financial Controller and Head Human Resources reasonable confidence/assurance before further approvals and authorizations are done.
  • Review of Surcharge List, Attendance Register and Payroll with a view to ensuring completeness and accuracy and also prevent duplications and omissions.
  • Verification of items and assets purchased.
  • Timely Review and approval of all operations and locations imprest and fuel retirements, raising queries for non-compliance where necessary.
  • Ensuring that vehicle maintenance policies are followed and maintenance costs are reduced to the barest minimum through efficient supervision of the Cost Control Team, Market price
  • Surveys and constantly liaising with the Maintenance Team.
  • Ensuring that tyres and batteries purchased are in line with the company’s policy and that the changed tyres and batteries are returned before sign off.
  • Ensuring that Revenue Controls like Real Time System Serve Entries, management approved vehicle rental rates, payment before vehicle release, no cash collection from clients, matching tracking reports with revenue earned etc are fully complied with and that defaulters are duly penalized.
  • Review of fuel costs and the fueling process for overall efficiency.
  • Implementation of the Cash Advance Retirement Policy.
  • Working with all departments and team members to achieve the company’s overall goal.
  • Actively seek standardization and automation, apply and implement best practices.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned.

Educational Qualification Required for the Post:

  • HND / BSC
  • Professional Qualification Required For the Position: ACA.
  • Required Experience for the Position: 4 years of cognate experience
  • Competencies Required: Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, and PowerPoint (Office Utility).
