The Inventory Accountant will work as a Supervisor in the Inventory Team and assist the warehouse and Inventory manager to manage the company’s inventory operations, monitor transactions, gather and analyze data, perform audits and assessments, and produce regular inventory reports.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze data and statistics to continually improve processes
- Receive and review daily inventory reports from all outlets
- Do impromptu spot checks at the various outlets
- Take part in regular stock take exercises
- Anticipate and react to shortages and changes in inventory
- Take part in offloading exercises
- Reconcile physical stock with system balance
- Reports in the stock to be adjusted to the inventory manager Use software to track inventory characteristics, types, and movement
- Audit processes and inventory to track performance
- Oversee and control inventory coming in and out of the warehouse through software
- Work with suppliers to purchase goods and build good working relationships Find ways to reduce costs and optimize control procedure
- Carry out investigation on inventory when necessary
- signing of daily bin cards system transfer on inventory to various outlets
QUALIFICATIONS/JOB REQUIREMENTS
- BSc or HND in Accounting or Finance or management related field
- Must have 4-6 years relevant experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of Excel and accounting software
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be disciplined with good interpersonal skills
